Everyone starts somewhere, and for Amelia Murray better known by her stage name Fazerdaze, it began in a bedroom. Long before she found her way to festival stages and international tours, she was recording songs within the bedroom that witnessed everything, uncertainty, growth, and negotiating life's transitional moments. These bedroom recordings eventually became the shoegaze and dream-pop that have made her known. Born in New Zealand and has Indonesian heritage, she writes from a place that is both familiar and deeply personal. Such as her debut album Morningside that became a soundtrack for listeners going through similar times. She has continued to develop her sound throughout time from Break! to Soft Power. Still, Fazerdaze stays grounded in the same emotional honesty that initially linked her music to fans by turning those personal emotions into something shared.
